I haven't written any holiday patterns in a couple of years, but this year I have a brand new Christmas pattern to share with you - this cute little reindeer with an elf hat and a scarf.

As with most of my animals, I used plastic doll joints to attach the arms and legs, which makes them movable - such a little detail, but makes the toys so much more fun.

The yarn I used was Scheepjes 'Stone Washed' - a beautiful cotton and acrylic blend that has quickly become one of my favorite yarns, I just love the way it looks. The colors I used are 831 Axinite and 829 Obsidian.
And for the hat and scarf I used Alize 'Cotton Gold' in colors 427 bright blue and 55 white.
