This PDF crochet pattern walks you through every step of creating your very own amigurumi ballerina monkey, complete with a ruffled tutu and flower beret.

SIZE
24 cm (9 1/2”) from head to toe, when crocheted with DK weight cotton yarn and a 2.50 mm crochet hook (US size 2/C).
DIFFICULTY
Advanced – includes some less common crochet techniques, small details, color changes and simple shaping.
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Crocheting in spiral.
• Crocheting in rounds.
• Chain, slip, single, half double and double crochet stitch.
• Increasing and decreasing.
YOU WILL NEED
• DK / light worsted / # 3 / sport weight yarn. I used Rico ‘Ricorumi DK’, a DK weight 100% cotton yarn, 58 m (68 yd) / 25 g (0.88 oz). You will need about 34 g of brown (# 056), 24 g of cream (# 054), 18 g of green (# 046) and 13 g of pink yarn (# 011).
• 2.50 - 3.00 mm crochet hook (US size 2/C - 3/D).
• Polyester fiberfill, wool, etc. for stuffing.
• 9 mm (3/8") safety eyes or buttons, beads, felt, etc.
• Dark brown cotton embroidery floss.
• Yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker.
