And here's the last pattern of 2019 - this cute small fox. There are a few more animals in my collection that would look cute as little mini versions, but I think I will take a little break from the minis and work on something new for a change.
There's an animal pattern I've been working on that should be finished at the beginning of January. Hint, it will use black, white and gray yarn. Any guesses?
But back to this little guy, who was supposed to be the star here! I used the same yarn that I used for the larger version - DROPS "Lima", a nice and soft wool and alpaca blend, one of my all time favorite yarns. And the little fox turned out 19.5 cm (7 2/3") tall, which is about 2/3 the size of the larger one.
And I also gave the pattern a go with Scheepjes "Stone Washed", a lovely speckled cotton and acrylic blend. I really love the way it looks, the softer colors do give the little fox that certain sweetness.
