My raccoon pattern now comes in a handy kit with everything you need to make your own adorable little trash panda with moving arms and legs.
In this kit you will get a a printout of the pattern, four skeins of Scheepjes 'Stone Washed' yarn, polyester fiberfill, safety eyes and nose, doll joints and embroidery floss. And you can add a Clover Soft Touch crochet hook and/or a set of two yarn needles.
'Stone Washed' is a beautiful sport weight cotton and acrylic blend, I'm sure you will love it. It has quickly become one of my all time favorite yarns - it's so nice and soft and I absolutely love the way it looks.
The finished raccoon will be about 25 cm (10") tall, a great size for a cuddly toy. It's not difficult to crochet and works up using just single crochet stitches, but it does include color changes, some less common crochet techniques (crocheting around the ears) and some simple embroidery, nothing too complicated.
