Who wouldn't love to have their own personal dragon? I know I would - a rainbow colored one, who knows all kinds of awesome magic spells and can blow soap bubbles from his nose!

You can use this crochet pattern to make as many dragons as you like, in any possible color combination. They are big enough to really cuddle and are great at bringing sweet dreams at nap time.

One PDF file, 11 pages. Pattern is written in English, using US crochet terminology. I included detailed instructions, many step-by-step photos and useful tips and tricks.

35 cm (14") total length, 20 cm (8") when sitting, when crocheted with DK weight cotton and bamboo blend and a 2,50 mm crochet hook (US size 1/B - 2/C).

2. Beginner - suitable for novice crocheters, requires patience and precision when assembling the dragon.

Increasing and decreasing

• Yarn. I used Katia 'Bamboo', a DK weight cotton and bamboo viscose blend, 50 g = 100 m (50 g = 110 yd) / DK / 8 ply / 11 wpi / 3: light. You will need about 180 g of turquoise, 22 g of green and 10 g of mint green yarn.
• 2,25 – 3,00 mm crochet hook (US size 1/B – 3/D) or according to the yarn.
• Polyester fiberfill, wool, wadding etc. for stuffing.
• 15 mm (2/3”) safety eyes or buttons, beads, felt etc.
• Yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker.
